GENUINENESS
The story of Dr. Will H. Houghton is a testament to genuine Christian living. He pastored the Calvary Baptist Church in New York City and later became the president of Chicago's Moody Bible Institute till his death in 1946.
When Dr. Houghton became the pastor of the Baptist Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA a curious man in the city hired a private detective to follow Dr. Houghton and report on his conduct. After several weeks the detective reported to the man
that Dr. Houghton's lifestyle matched his preaching. As a result, the man became a Christian.
